Heaters at popular bus stops that have power when it drops below x degrees, with button to turn on for heat for x number of minutes.
To encourage people to use public transit, particularly when it is cold outside, it would be brilliant to have "extra frequent" bus/LRT service. Buses every 5 mins. This would mitigate any time waiting outside in the frigid cold. More often than not, we have the opposite service [infrequent/unrealiable] bus service in the winter.
